You cannot spend more than you have. That is a fundamental thing to know. But the reason for mentioning it is that you should be wary of your budget. When you surf the marketplace, you get to check a lot of varieties. Make sure you buy the best one for your budget. The prices go up especially if you are going to print large volumes.

Now that you have your budget decided, we can move on to discussing different types of slits you can purchase and the things they can be used for. But first, you ought to grasp what a slit is. A slit is a cut in the liner, the sheet at the back, which lets you peel it off to paste the label.

If there are no slits, just peel the liner from the label.

1. Single Slit:

In this basic permutation of Custom Sheet Labels, there is only one vertical slit. The liner can easily be removed in two halves from the centre. It is commonly used for signage, warning labels and in warehouses.

2. One Horizontal Slit:

This is the opposite of a single, vertical design. It divides the sheet into two horizontal parts instead of two vertical components. It is used where you need to have large horizontal stickers. These are larger than the three-piece sheets. You can also cut it down into smaller pieces if you wish.

3. Upper Horizontal Slit:

It has also got a single slit but the positioning of that slit is a bit different. It is horizontal and placed on the top. The lower surface, as a result, peels as a whole. With just one slit, it does not produce many pieces. Its focus is those designs that are large in size and get printed on a full page.

When you place these Blank Labels Sheets in the printer, it means the smallest possible discrepancy is created in the printing process due to its smoothness. It is also used for signage. Some of its other uses are decoration and artwork.

4. Two Vertical Slits:

This orientation divides the liner into three equal parts. Two of the parts are peeled off from sides while the third one in the centre stays there and is peeled later. It is used to divide the structure into several moderate-sized pieces. In the end, every piece has its own peeling surface that comes off easily. It is used to generate name tags, labels for shipping and different kinds of sticker handouts.

5. Quadruple Diagonal Slits:

This may sound like an odd design but it is very useful in sheet label printing. Basically, it has four diagonal slits at the back which divide the whole sheet into five different sections at one time. This means this has the most number of sections available. It has also been designed keeping in mind the allocation of the liner to every single piece, even the smallest ones.

Since it is diagonal, it is often used at surfaces that have a rectangular corner. For instance, an LCD display has rectangular corners and the smaller pieces can feature its dimensions. It is also used for barcode labelling and handouts.

6. No Back Slit:

It is also called a sticker paper. It is an essential production design since electronic machines use it to cut it into different dimensions. It means there is no need to for a slit in the liner. These are also important because they have to be put on a sticky matt. If there are any slits, the pieces can get stuck on the cutter and the Printed Label Sheet might get damaged.

Its most important use is with the electronic cutting machines that operate on a whole sheet without any slits.

7. Two Horizontal Slits:

This design of Sheet for Labels is the counterpart of the one having two vertical splits. While that divided the sheet into three vertical pieces, this does exactly that same but in a horizontal way. It can be used in two ways. Either you can use the parts as wholes in themselves, that means if you need large horizontal stickers for a surface, or you can cut them into smaller pieces to get multiple stickers.

If you cut it into numerous pieces, you will still have no problem in peeling off the liner because every piece gets its own liner.

A label is one of the most significant parts of the packaging. It works both ways by conveying highly important information and aggrandizing the appearance of an item. This means if they are used to their fullest potential, they can be a worthwhile investment.
